We are excited to introduce you to the newest attorney at Mayo | Hill, Jake Wilkes.
Jake Wilkes, a middle Georgia native, graduated cum laude from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Prior to obtaining his Juris Doctor, Jake completed his undergraduate studies at Georgia College & State University, earning a degree in Criminal Justice.
While at Mercer Law, Jake was named to the President’s List in Fall 2019, Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Fall 2021. He earned the Cali Award for the highest grade in his class for both the Evidence and Secured Transactions courses. Before joining Mayo | Hill, Jake interned at the Kight Firm, P.C. in Dublin, Georgia.
When asked what he’s most looking forward to about being on the Mayo | Hill team, Jake had this to say: “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work and learn from distinguished and successful attorneys. I’m also looking forward to assisting our clients in obtaining the best possible outcomes for their cases. I’m lucky to be surrounded by great people in this office!”
When he’s not working diligently on behalf of the firm’s clients, you can find Jake spending time with family and friends, golfing, watching college football, and spending time outdoors.
